The third module focusses on raising awareness for the cultural aspects of society, everyday life and the effect it has on all kind of media. It builds competence in analysis, research, grading, and execution. Inter- and transdisiplinary thinking, acting and research are lectured; opening a wide pan of additional professional and networking opportunities for the students.

As communication design is directly affecting our perception of the environment by designing all kind of media, setting trends, defining styles, and even influencing society, it requires a high degree of responsibility from the designer.

Consequently, students are trained to strictly adhere to the sociological context by constantly observing the social, political, and cultural development. By matching (adjust, balance) their own acting and planning in an unbiased fashion to changing values and moral concepts they learn to live up to that responsibility.
